ARENAL VOLCANO AND RAIN FOREST
Arenal Volcano, Hot Springs & Rain Forest
This tour involves traveling through the Guanacaste mountain range and
passing by local towns and small villages. We stop at the Las Pumas Wild
Cat Refuge then continue on for lunch overlooking Lake Arenal. Upon
arrival, you will enjoy mild temperature with great views of Arenal's
lake and the exuberant vegetation of this area. Early in the afternoon,
you will enjoy the Hot Springs at the base of the constantly erupting
volcano with lava flowing down. The warmth of the flowing thermal
mineral rivers and the surrounding tropical rain forest will make from
this tour an unique experience!!! At night enjoy a delicious dinner
while you wait for the volcano's magical night show.

Option A:
Rain Forest Hike
Don't miss the opportunity to hike in the rain forest at the base of the
volcano to admire its flora and fauna. Some of the birds and mammals you
may see during this walk are: toucans, Trogon, parrots, Crested Guan,
snakes, coatis, White Faced Monkeys, Howler Monkeys and many other
species.
Duration:15 hrs
Tour includes: a/c transportation, bilingual guide, Las Pumas Wildlife
Center stop, lunch, rain forest hike, hot springs entrance and dinner.

Option
B: Hanging Bridges Hike
The hanging bridges is a tourist project consisting of paths and bridges
built with a view to maintain the outmost harmony between man made
structure and nature. Covering an area of approximately 250 hectares of
primary rain forest, with an impressive view of the Arenal Volcano..
There are eight (8) fixed bridges, ranging in length between 8 to 22
meters and six (6) hanging bridges between 48 and 98 meters long. The
trails, covering a distance of about 3.1 kilometers are right in the
rain forest. As you walk will be able to appreciate a great diversity of
flowers and wildlife.
Duration:15 hrs
What to bring: Long pants, t-shirt, extra change of dry clothes, bathing
suit, bug spray, sunscreen, binoculars, hat, raincoat and cameras.
